Below are the CRM 2016 requirements for the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016 web application. To read more, please consult the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016 Implementation Guide.

Supported non-Internet Explorer web browsers

In addition to Internet Explorer, Internet Explorer, the Microsoft CRM system will run on the following browsers:

  • Mozilla Firefox (latest publicly released version) running on Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 8, or Windows 7
  • Google Chrome (latest publicly released version) running on Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7, or Android 10 tablet
  • Apple Safari (latest publicly released version) running on Mac OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion), 10.9 (Mavericks), 10.10 (Yosemite), or Apple iPad

Supported versions of Microsoft Office

To use this Microsoft CRM system with Microsoft Office integration features, such as Export to Excel and Mail Merge, you will need to have one of the following versions of office:

  • Microsoft Office 365
  • Microsoft Office 2016
  • Microsoft Office 2013
  • Microsoft Office 2010

Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Minimum Network Requirements

  • Bandwidth greater than 50 KBps (400 kbps)
  • Latency under 150 ms

Microsoft Dynamics CRM Web Application Hardware Requirements

Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook Requirements

Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook software requirements

The following operating systems are supported:

  • Windows 10 (64-bit and 32-bit versions)
  • Windows 8.1 or Windows 8 (64-bit and 32-bit versions)
  • Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (64-bit and 32-bit versions)
  • Windows Server 2012 when running as a Remote Desktop Services application

Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook software prerequisites

In order to run Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook Setup, you will need to have one of the following web browsers installed:

  • Internet Explorer 11
  • Internet Explorer 10

You will also need one of the following versions of Office for Windows. Microsoft Office for Mac is not supported:

  • Microsoft Office 2016
  • Microsoft Office 2013
  • Microsoft Office 2010

The following table lists the minimum recommended CRM 2016 requirements for hardware requirements when you run Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 for Microsoft Office Outlook in either online only or go offline enabled modes.
