The Power of Choice
As with life, business is all about choices. Microsoft is the only software publisher that offers a full range of flexible options when it comes to application deployment. They do this by employing their unique
"Power of Choice" model. As a Microsoft Partner fully embracing that power of choice, xRM.com offers On-Premise, Hosted, or Hybrid deployment for any product we carry.
Get Started with an On Premise Deployment
By going On-Premise, a company purchases all necessary software licenses, hardware, and then installs everything on their local area network. As with all implementations, it has its pros and cons. On the positive side, you own and control the solution and long-term costs are lower. However, this option can prove risky—if the software isn't right for you, you're stuck with it. It's also time consuming and very expensive in the short term. For these reasons, we at xRM recommend starting with a Hosted model and then moving to an On-Premise environment once employees have become accustomed to using the products.
Get Started with a Hosted Deployment
Hosted services are delivered through a Microsoft Partner who is a member of the Service Provider License Agreement (SPLA). xRM is such as partner, and we lease space in tier one data centers, pay for bandwidth, power and space. In essence we own and are in control of the rest of solution, which allows companies to both keep initial costs down and relegate maintenance responsibilities. This solution is extremely flexible, it can be up and running very quickly, and businesses can add or remove seats as needed, without penalty.
Get Started with a Hybrid Deployment
In simple terms, the Hybrid model combines elements of both On-Premise and Hosted CRM implementations. An example of this scenario might involve a company that uses the On-Premise model at their headquarters, but pays for the licensing via a subscriber access license through the Hosted model. This option can offer great flexibility, speed and disaster recovery benefits. However, the overall success of a Hybrid deployment really depends on a company's organizational structure.
