Prepaid Consulting Time Details

Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online subscribers, or any person or institution considering subscribing to CRM Online, may purchase prepaid consulting time at a discounted block rate to facilitate the consumption of value-added xRM services. Prepaid consulting time can be a useful compliment to any Quickstart Deployment Package, or it can be purchased separately.

Purchasing raw time instead of a Quickstart package is great if, for instance, your company has already performed its own needs assessment internally and would rather move directly to configuration and customization. Perhaps you want to start with some rigorous planning and leave your development options open. Maybe your staff cannot give up their time to attend formal training sessions, but they would appreciate having some hours available to them to call in and receive instruction on specific features they discover while working. Maybe you have an enthusiastic and savvy user base that has already configured CRM Online to match their daily workplace processes, and now they need some expert advice on how to implement even bigger ideas.

Prepaid time is purchased in blocks. When you use all of your time, you can purchase additional blocks. Each block is 10 hours, and comes with a 7.5% discount against our regular rates, for a total of $1,850. The payment method is via credit card. You prepay for a block of 10 hours using a credit card, and the 7.5% discount is included in the $1,850 price.

All off-site xRM services are available in any combination. This includes any of the services mentioned in the Quickstart Deployment Package descriptions, as well as others. Please see the xRM Services Menu on this page for a categorized overview. On-site services (such as hardware maintenance) don’t qualify for Prepaid Consulting Time but they can be contracted easily through a Statement of Work (SOW).

After you purchase a block of 10 hours, the way you consume services is to e-mail support@xrm.com that you are ready to schedule a service session. Prepaid hours come with a 2-business-day Service Level Agreement (SLA). That means we will respond to you within 2 business days of receiving your e-mail to schedule your service. Consulting hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, PST.

Prepaid hours are invoiced in 30-minute portions, so if you were to call in with a 15-minute question, we would invoice for 30 minutes. Answers to common questions can be researched free at the CRM Online Resource Center, and subscribers also have access to unlimited Microsoft technical support. Prepaid consulting time can be used to augment those channels if needed, in 30-minute portions.

You never lose the time until you consume it. In other words, it does not expire at the end of the year, nor are leftover hours cancelled when you buy additional blocks. Prepaid hours are persistent and cumulative—they “roll over” indefinitely. You do not have to consume an entire 10-hour block at the same time or on the same service. You can divide your time among as many or as few services as needed, in any proportion, and use them at any pace. The only requirement is the minimum session time of 30 minutes. You can be comfortable and confident in the simplicity of this agreement and the 2-business-day SLA.
